Introducing Dr. Alyssa Neelley

Bright 32 Family Dentistry is excited to welcome Dr. Alyssa Neelley to the team. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Neelley’s journey to becoming a dentist reflects her passion for both oral health and community service.
A graduate of UC Santa Cruz with a major in Neuroscience, Dr. Neelley’s commitment to dentistry blossomed during her time as an active member of her college’s Pre-Dental Society. Holding key roles such as Volunteer Coordinator and Historian, she embarked on dental mission trips to Guatemala and Nicaragua, igniting her dedication to making a positive impact through dentistry.
Continuing her education at Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Neelley earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Her outstanding achievements, including the Distinguished Professionalism and Ethics award, underscore her commitment to excellence in patient care.
Driven by a desire for continuous improvement, Dr. Neelley pursued additional training at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, completing a 1-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. This experience equipped her to handle complex medical histories and special needs, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care for her patients.
Returning to the West Coast, Dr. Neelley, alongside her wife, Dr. Lisa Duckles, practices dentistry with a focus on ongoing education to deliver the highest quality care. As a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pacific Northwest Gnathologic Study Club, Dr. Neelley stays at the forefront of dental advancements.
Beyond the dental office, Dr. Neelley finds joy in outdoor pursuits like hiking, backpacking, and rock climbing, complemented by her love for yoga and playing the piano. Her commitment to patient well-being extends beyond the clinic, reflecting the warmth and care that defines Bright 32 Family Dentistry.

A little over a year ago, my wife Lindsey and I made the heartfelt decision to move our family to Iowa. This decision was driven by our strong desire to be closer to family and to create the best possible support system for our three children, who have special needs. While leaving our cherished home in Seattle was a difficult choice, it was a necessary one to ensure the well-being and development of our children, who are now thriving in their new environment.
I am pleased to inform you that, despite the physical distance, I am fully committed to maintaining the same level of care and attention to our patients. I have established a close collaboration with Dr. Neelley, and we are working together closely to address and fulfill the needs of our patients. I will be present in the office on a monthly basis to ensure continuity in patient care and to uphold the high standards that our practice is known for.

Dr. Brenner attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate studies and earned his DDS from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He loves being a dentist and is dedicated to learning the most advanced treatments available. As part of his continuing education, he is involved in the Seattle Study Club and the CEREC Study Club. He wants his patients to be comfortable asking questions and know that his answers will be based on proven, recent research and education.
